Requested award date is FY26 Q3. Requested period of performance is 16 months (or less). This TF-1 is to initiate a Design-Build effort to replace the existing Bldg. 77L PEDAL Lab chiller plant. The existing 100 ton air cooled glycol chiller along with associated pump skid and glycol buffer tank, located on the SE side of Bldg. 77L (S. of Bldg. 771), shall be removed and replaced with a new 300 ton air cooled glycol chiller assembly, to include a new duplex pump skid and 2,000 glycol buffer tank. The new chiller plant shall be tied-in to the existing glycol cooling loop for the PEDAL lab (located in the Bldg. 77L high Bay at SE corner of Bldg. 77L). New electrical feed(s) shall be from the Bldg. 77L SE substation. New glycol buffer tank shall be an insulated double wall tank, suitable for outdoor installation.
