AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Department of Transportation, through its Central Federal Lands Division, is seeking to determine interest from qualified small business contractors—specifically those designated as small businesses, HUBZone, woman-owned, 8(a), or service-disabled veteran-owned—for a road and parking improvement project at the Tishomingo National Fish Hatchery in Oklahoma. This notice is not a request for bids but a sources-sought action to assess whether sufficient interest exists to justify a total small business set-aside. Interested firms must submit a written statement of intent to bid, a comprehensive list of applicable socioeconomic certifications, a bonding agent letter confirming capacity to bond a $2 million project along with aggregate bonding limits, and a list of previously completed road construction projects involving full depth reclamation, aggregate base and asphalt pavement, concrete ABA-compliant curb ramps, and ABA-compliant parking spots—all of equal or greater scope and value. Only projects containing these specific elements will be considered. All companies must be registered in the System for Award Management and must comply with SBA size and affiliation rules under 13 CFR 121.103 and 121.108. Responses are due by 2 p.m. Denver time on May 29, 2026. The primary work items include 6,800 square yards of full depth reclamation, 1,250 tons of asphalt concrete pavement, and 400 cubic yards of roadway excavation, all governed under NAICS code 237310.
