On-Call Plumbing Services

Stanislaus County is soliciting bids for on-call plumbing services under solicitation number 26-36-PL. The selected contractor will provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to maintain and repair plumbing systems to ensure they are in satisfactory working condition. The contract is classified as a Public Works of Improvement and will be awarded to the lowest-priced responsive and responsible bidder, with the possibility of the County selecting up to two contractors. Bidders must submit a signed bid proposal, a noncollusion affidavit, contractor certifications, and a bid security of at least ten percent of the bid amount. Contractors must maintain comprehensive insurance and comply with various legal mandates, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Employment and Housing Act, and CARB requirements for off-road diesel-fueled vehicle labeling. Pricing must remain valid for three years, and any markup on parts and materials is capped at ten percent of the contractor's cost. Work is generally scheduled between 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., and all installations must comply with Stanislaus County Code Title 16 Standard Specifications.
