Under the Authority of Federal Acquisitions Regulation, Part 19.202-1 and 19.202-2, the U.S. Census Bureau (USCB) is seeking a qualified small business source, especially an 8(a), HubZone, or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned small business that have the knowledge, capabilities, and experience to support Open Text eDOCS DM Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), formerly Hummingbird DM, that is managed by the USCB's LAN Technology Support Office (LTSO). Econ customers make use of the EDMS as an integral part of their daily work routine and rely heavily on this system as their primary document repository. The support requirements to maintain this system have grown steadily as more users and branches within Econ come to rely on the use and availability of the system. The USCB seeks to interact with innovative companies in order to understand the alternatives and capabilities that the industry has to offer. The USCB reserves the right to meet with the small businesses that demonstrate the best technical capabilities, and experience with projects similar in size, scope, and complexity to the EDMS overview of requirements (document attached). Detailed capabilities must be submitted via email to contact@example.gov and a copy to contact@example.gov. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of responses received in response to this notice, but responses will be used to determine if a qualified source is available and could meet and/or exceed the needs of the USCB requirement.
