Ophthalmic Exam Chairs

The Indian Health Service (IHS) has issued a Sources Sought notice seeking Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) capable of supplying ophthalmic exam chairs to support patient care at the Lawton Service Unit facilities, including Lawton Indian Hospital, Anadarko Indian Clinic, and Carnegie Indian Clinic in Oklahoma. This notice is not a solicitation but an effort to identify qualified ISBEEs as part of the IHS’s efforts to utilize the Buy Indian Act negotiation authority, which prioritizes contracting with eligible Indian Economic Enterprises. Interested businesses are encouraged to submit detailed capability statements along with the Buy Indian Act Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form and other required company information such as socioeconomic status, SAM registration, DUNS and CAGE codes, contact details, and applicable procurement vehicle data. Responses must be submitted via email by 1:00 PM CST on May 19, 2026, to designated contract specialists. Submissions are limited to five pages and should not contain proprietary or sensitive information. The government emphasizes that this request does not guarantee contract award or payment for submitted information and reserves the right to use responses as deemed appropriate. Following evaluation, IHS may issue a solicitation responsive to the needs outlined. This effort is specifically set aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises under NAICS code 339115, reflecting the department’s commitment to support tribal businesses in fulfilling healthcare equipment needs.
