The contract specifies the procurement of a single stereoscope vision testing device identified by NSN 6540-01-375-9031, designed to perform nine near and distant vision tests without the need to replace or remove slides. The unit must operate on 115-volt, 60-hertz AC power and include an 8.5 by 11-inch plastic laminated scoring card, a dust cover, a pointer, and two sets of replacement bulbs. Item Unique Identification (IUID) is mandatory under MIL-STD-130, requiring a permanent Data Matrix ECC 200 bar code with the NSN, manufacturer name, CAGE code, manufacture date, and contract or lot number.
