Orcutt Solomon Basin Maintenance

The Santa Barbara County Flood Control District is seeking to perform maintenance and minor repairs at the Orcutt-Solomon Basin, a flood control facility in unincorporated Orcutt, California, located at Broadway Street and Hartnell Road. The project aims to address maintenance challenges caused by sediment buildup and woody debris blockages. The scope of work includes replacing the existing concrete outlet structure, repairing pipe connections using a durable, low-maintenance drainage design, and improving debris screening to better capture organic materials. These activities will involve removing and replacing deteriorated concrete and minor drainage and access components, all of which will be performed within the perimeter and general alignment of the existing facility.
