The VA VISN 3 Network Business Center plans to negotiate a sole source contract with Iron Mountain for OSDP services, leveraging the authority provided under FAR 6.302-1 due to the unique qualifications of Iron Mountain as the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the agency's requirements. The Government aims to issue a firm, fixed-price contract that will cover VISN3-wide OSDP services. While this notice is not a solicitation for competitive proposals, interested parties are invited to submit evidence of their qualifications and capabilities within ten calendar days to demonstrate their ability to meet the requirement, including details about security practices, expertise, and available resources. Responses will be evaluated exclusively to decide if a competitive procurement is warranted, though the Government reserves the sole discretion to proceed without competition. Submissions must be directed to the Contracting Officer, Jerry Borowka, at the Bronx VA Medical Center address provided. This acquisition process highlights the intent to justify other than full and open competition based on the specialized nature of the service and the singular suitability of the identified provider.
