AI Contract Overview
The contract FA441726R0023 is an 8(a) competed set-aside issued by the Department of Defense through the FA4417 1 Socons office at Hurlburt Field, Florida, for comprehensive maintenance and repair services on overhead roll-up doors, electric vehicle gates, and automatic sliding/swing personnel doors. The scope requires the contractor to provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, and services necessary to perform annual preventive maintenance inspections and monthly service calls across 620 overhead doors, 62 automatic doors, and 52 electric gates, with additional unpriced line items for major repairs as needed. The period of performance spans a base year from June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027, with four optional one-year extensions and an additional extension option, bringing the potential total contract duration to nearly five years. The only quantified financial value in the solicitation is $275,000 for major repairs under CLIN 0007, designated as a "No Bid CLIN," while all other service line items lack unit pricing data, making this figure the sole basis for estimated contract value. An amendment issued on April 23, 2026, corrected a formula in the official Excel pricing worksheet, mandating that offerors use only the version available in SAM and strictly avoid the PIEE version. Proposals must be submitted via SAM by April 30, 2026, at 1400 CST, with strict adherence to the unaltered worksheet format and completion only in designated red “Fill-in Field” cells. No evaluation factors, inspection standards, packaging requirements, or special contract provisions such as security clearances or OCI clauses are explicitly detailed in the provided content. The contract is administered from Hurlburt Field, with performance occurring entirely on-site, and while the contracting office and point of contacts are named, there is no disclosed information on payment procedures, accounting codes, invoicing systems, or COR/COTR designees. Offerors must hold an active UEI and qualify under the SBA’s 8(a) Business Development Program, as this is a competed 8(a) set-aside, but no representations or certifications from potential respondents are included in the documentation.
