The Palmdale Logistics Center project involves the subdivision of 160 acres into three parcels located at the northeast corner of Avenue M / Columbia Way and 30th Street East in Palmdale, California. The primary objective of the development is the construction of two industrial buildings with a combined total area of approximately three million square feet, along with the installation of a stormwater detention basin. The project is managed by the City of Palmdale Planning Division as the lead agency, with the Local Agency Formation Commission for the County of Los Angeles serving as a responsible agency. The project has undergone a comprehensive environmental review process in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, resulting in the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report. Project approval is conditioned upon the implementation of specific mitigation measures and a monitoring plan to address significant environmental effects.
