AI Contract Overview
The Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is conducting market research through this Request for Information (RFI) to identify capable sources for the manufacturing and repair of the PATRIOT Ground Support Equipment’s Cooler Liquid Electron Tube (CLET) Pumps, specifically for Part Numbers 11463449-2 and 11463449-3 used in the PATRIOT missile system. The Government is seeking both original parts and comparable alternatives that meet fit, form, and function, with the provision that any alternative designs must be supported by design data for evaluation. This effort aims to support U.S. Army and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers in maintaining and upgrading the PATRIOT Radar Fleet, possibly resulting in a contract awarded under either small business set-asides or full and open competition, with multiple awards being possible. Interested vendors must demonstrate comprehensive capabilities including manufacturing, technical expertise, testing, and repair services for the CLET Pumps. The Government expects minimal maintenance and inspection needs at the organizational level and ease of repair for deployed units. No security clearance is required, but compliance with the Berry Amendment for specialty metals is mandatory. Respondents must submit detailed capability statements electronically by the specified deadline and may request access to the Technical Data Package (TDP) to support their responses. The Government emphasizes that this RFI is solely for information gathering and does not constitute a solicitation or guarantee of contract award. All proprietary information submitted will be protected from unauthorized disclosure.
