This notice does not constitute a request for proposal or request for quotation nor does it commit the government to contract for these services. The intent of this notice is to provide the pre-solicitation notice as required by FAR 5.2, Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions in preparation for release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) at a later date. On or about September 30, 2024, the Department of Labor, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM), Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE), Customer Acquisition Services (CAS), anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain Pharmacy Benefits Management Services (PBM) for the Office of Workers� Compensation (OWCP). The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on an unrestricted basis for full and open competition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 524292, Third Party Administration of Insurance and Pension Funds, with a size standard of $45.5 million. Contractors shall not directly contact the Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity to submit relevant questions. The government contemplates a single Fixed Price contract with a period of performance consisting of a 15-month base period, four (4) 12-month option periods and the potential for one (1) 12-month award term period.
