Pinkut Creek Spawning Channel – Generator Building

The contract involves the supply, delivery, modification, installation, and commissioning of a self-contained generator building at the Pinkut Creek Spawning Channel near Burns Lake, British Columbia. The project requires converting a 20-foot transportable enclosure into a fully weather-tight building to support on-site power generation. This includes delivering and placing the building as directed by the Departmental Representative, modifying its structure and envelope with insulation, service penetrations, windows, louvers, and ventilation openings to ensure weather tightness, and supplying and installing a skid-mounted 30 kVA diesel generator along with a fuel storage tank capable of providing at least 24 hours of operation at 80% load. Additionally, the contract covers the supply and installation of mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems necessary for the safe operation of the generator within the enclosure, along with testing and commissioning of all installed equipment and systems. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, installation, and coordination needed to complete the work according to relevant codes, standards, and project drawings. It is important to note that foundation construction and external electrical integration fall outside the scope of this contract. Further specifications and drawings will be supplied in the next phase of the tender process.
