This project will implement reforestation treatments on wildfire-impacted areas that were previously free growing but experienced significant mortality due to recent wildfire events. Planting is required to ensure timely re-establishment of forest cover, as natural regeneration alone may be insufficient or delayed due to seed source loss, competition from brush, and site conditions following wildfire. Establishing seedlings through planting will help restore forest productivity, maintain appropriate species composition, and support long-term recovery. A table summarizing the number of trees and their location followsAdditionally, 100,000 at a cost of 0.195 per fertilizer tea bags will be bought and planted in select blocks across this project. These tea bags will aid seedlings on sites with significant brush competition.
