The Sacramento International Airport (SMF) currently performs into-plane (ITP) fueling at Terminal A via refueler trucks that must cross runways and taxiways from the existing tank farm. The project proposes the construction of a refueler truck loading facility with the capacity to fuel two refueler trucks at the same time, installation of approximately 5,750 feet of 12-inch transfer main pipes, approximately 200 feet of 14-inch instrument valve system (IVS) line, and 2,300 feet of 16-inch Jet-A piping from the existing fuel tank farm.
