PMSS AHU Replacement – Packaged Heat Pump Supply

School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) has issued a notice of intent under solicitation 27-11N to award a contract to Engineered Air for the supply of one custom packaged rooftop heat pump air handling unit for Port Moody Secondary School. The anticipated contract value is 408,800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This procurement is for the equipment supply only and does not include installation. The unit must be factory-engineered to match the existing roof curb, ductwork connections, and piping vestibule locations to ensure compatibility without requiring significant structural or roofing modifications. The equipment must also comply with applicable codes and FortisBC dual-fuel rebate requirements. The Board is utilizing a mandatory requirements screening process to determine if a direct award is appropriate. Other vendors may submit a written statement of capabilities, including technical drawings and supporting documentation, to demonstrate their ability to meet the mandatory technical specifications and the required manufacturing and delivery schedule. The manufacturing lead time is approximately 32 weeks, with a target delivery date ahead of the July 2027 project schedule. The deadline for objecting to the intent to award or submitting capabilities was originally September 14, 2026, though Addendum No. 1 amended the closing date to September 21, 2026.
