The purpose of this project is to replace damaged horizontal timber fenders with new rubber horizontal fenders on 1-3 jetties in Port Dover, On. The project site described is located in the Port Dover fisherman’s basin 42°46'58.9"N 80°11'53.4"W) in Port Dover, Ontario, on the North shore of Lake Erie.
The work under this contract covers:
Base bid:
• Removal and disposal of existing horizontal timber fenders on jetty #2 and ladders on jetties 2,4 and 6.
• Supply and installation of new:
o Horizontal square shaped rubber fenders.
o Steel safety ladders.
Optional Work #1:
• Removal and disposal of existing horizontal timber fenders on jetty #4.
• Supply and installation of new horizontal square shaped rubber fenders.
Optional Work #2:
• Removal and disposal of existing horizontal timber fenders on jetty #6.
• Supply and installation of new horizontal square shaped rubber fenders.
It is anticipated the contractor can perform and complete the work in approximately 3-4 weeks after contract award. All work must be completed by February 28th, 2026.
