Prado Road Bridge Replacement Project

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-SLO-42578-R4, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of San Luis Obispo. The Project includes activities related to the demolition of the existing Prado Road Bridge and construction of a new wider, precast concrete I-girder single-span replacement bridge along the existing horizontal alignment. The existing reinforced concrete T-beam bridge is three-span and 123 feet long by 26.5 feet wide, and the new bridge will be approximately 142 feet long by 114 feet wide to accommodate four 12-foot wide traffic lanes, a two-foot wide striped median, two 12-foot wide turn lanes, two five-foot wide shoulders/bike lanes, two three-foot wide stamped concrete buffers, two five-foot wide directional bikeways, and two one-foot wide concrete barriers.
