The City of Atlanta, through its Department of Aviation, is initiating a multi-step sealed bid process to procure a qualified contractor for comprehensive maintenance and support services of mission-critical IT infrastructure systems within Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The scope encompasses preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, testing, emergency response, reporting, and limited janitorial duties for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems serving key facilities such as MDF and IDF rooms, UPS rooms, DAS rooms, communication vaults, and outdoor communication pedestals. Vendors must first pass a prequalification phase that rigorously assesses experience in maintaining mission-critical environments, with emphasis on HVAC, electrical, UPS, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems, alongside demonstrated ability to operate safely and compliantly in an active airport setting. During prequalification, vendors are evaluated on personnel qualifications including licensed HVAC and electrical technicians, NICET-certified fire protection specialists, and OEM-trained UPS service providers, as well as their capacity to meet strict performance benchmarks, rapid response timelines, safety protocols, and stringent airport security standards. The selected contractor will be tasked with ensuring the uninterrupted operation, environmental stability, electrical reliability, and life-safety compliance of the airport’s IT infrastructure. A pre-solicitation conference will be held to clarify requirements and address vendor inquiries. Interested parties must submit prequalification responses by July 31, 2026, with the solicitation numbered PE-66062-NONST-2027-000000443, and all communication should be directed to Alta Urtarte at the City of Atlanta’s Department of Aviation.

Services will cover MDF rooms, IDF rooms, UPS rooms, DAS rooms, communication vaults, outdoor communication pedestals, and other related IT support facilities throughout the Airport.
