The U.S. Embassy Guatemala City, through the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contract for the design, manufacture, and installation of a prefabricated modular classroom building capable of accommodating 30 students, with all work to be performed at the embassy compound in Guatemala City, ZIP 01016. The contractor must furnish and install all materials and systems required to meet the architectural layout specified in Section J, Attachment 1, and must submit detailed shop drawings for government approval prior to manufacturing. The contractor is the importer of record and assumes full responsibility for customs clearance, duty exoneration, and compliance with Guatemalan laws, while the government handles zoning and permitting. Security protocols require submission of worker and supervisor details for background screening, and the on-site manager must be fluent in English. Insurance must include at least $5,000 per occurrence and $10,000 aggregate coverage, naming the Department of State as an additional insured.
