PRICE TERM AGREEMENT FOR TITLE SEARCH SERVICES AND TITLE INSURANCE FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE, REAL PROPERTY TAX DIVISION

The County of Hawai'i, Department of Finance, Real Property Tax Division, is soliciting bids under Invitation for Bid 26-0258 for a price term agreement to provide title search services and title insurance on an as-needed basis. The contract involves the delivery of preliminary title reports, update title reports, and litigation guaranty policies, which the County uses to notify owners and lien holders of its intent to foreclose on properties for delinquent real property taxes. The anticipated volume includes approximately 200 preliminary reports for each of the two annual sales. The agreement is structured for a base period of one year starting November 1, 2026, with four optional one-year extensions at the sole discretion of the County.
