Collin County engages the services of an MEP Engineer through various departments, including Construction and Project, Equipment Services, and Facilities to design, manage, and optimize systems for public buildings and infrastructure. The firm would be involved in activities such as overseeing HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing across county-owned buildings, assisting staff in reviewing contractor bids for facility renovations, ensuring code compliance, and supporting the energy management and life safety monitoring functions. All interested firms shall have sufficient, readily available resources in the form of experienced personnel, support services, and specialized subconsultants to carry out the work without delay or shortcomings. On-call services may be short duration and fact paced, therefore, in addition to having sufficient resources to complete selected tasks, the submitting firms must have capacity to complete work within time limits established by the County.
