Sources Sought Special Notice 2026NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) is seeking partners interested in collaborating on competitive proposals for upcoming NASA Announcements of Opportunity (AOs), Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs), and other government agency solicitations. The Center is particularly focused on identifying organizations capable of conducting science investigations, research, technology development, and demonstration missions aligned with NASA’s goals. Potential partners should have capabilities spanning spacecraft systems, flight hardware, payloads, planetary surface delivery systems, scientific and technology demonstration concepts, and integration with launch services. ARC encourages responses from a range of entities including government, academia, industry, nonprofits, and international collaborators, highlighting past technical achievements, innovation, and the ability to support missions through all phases from development to operation. The notice serves as an annual source-seeking activity in anticipation of future NASA and related government agency opportunities, including those from NASA’s Science Mission Directorate, Space Technology Mission Directorate, Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate, and Space Operations Mission Directorate. In particular, ARC is preparing to respond to solicitations in areas such as Earth Sciences, Heliophysics, Astrophysics, Planetary Instruments, and lunar surface research among others. Interested parties should submit detailed responses outlining relevant technical capabilities, prior experience, facilities, and available resources for proposal development, accompanied by organizational information. Responses will be used to evaluate potential teaming arrangements and partnerships supporting ARC’s proposal efforts but do not constitute a solicitation or commitment by NASA. Submissions must be made by January 1, 2027, via email, and will be kept on file for three years to inform future collaboration opportunities.
