Provision of comprehensive cleaning and exhauster services to the British High Commission Nairobi

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office is seeking a service provider for comprehensive cleaning and exhauster services for the British High Commission in Nairobi, Kenya. The scope of work covers the office at Upper Hill Road, Gitanga Estate, as well as the residence and owned guard houses. The selected provider will be responsible for routine internal and external cleaning of offices, toilets, shower rooms, kitchens, meeting areas, and public spaces to a high standard of cleanliness. Additionally, the provider must supply all necessary equipment and materials, utilize anti-bacterial products for surfaces and fittings, and provide deep cleaning of commercial kitchens upon request. The contract is estimated at 480,000 GBP excluding VAT, with a primary performance period from March 1, 2027, to February 28, 2030, and a possible 24-month extension through February 29, 2032. Award decisions will be based on a weighted scoring system consisting of 60 percent technical and 40 percent commercial evaluations. Applicants must submit their proposals by October 5, 2026, and provide essential statutory documentation, including a PIN certificate, Tax Compliance Certificate, Certificate of Incorporation, Business Permit, and WIBA Insurance.
