Full Description
Bidding Documents shall be obtained only at the PennBid™ website at www.PennBid.net, beginning on Monday, July 20, 2026. Primary bidders shall secure a set of Bidding Documents for complete Architectural, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical specifications from PennBid™. Bids can only be submitted via the PennBid™ Bid Management Program online. Due to the possible inaccuracies in documents procured from other sources, and the potential for an incomplete understanding of the project scope of work, bids submitted by firms who procure these documents from any other source but the authorized source will be considered non-responsive and will be rejected.
Contracts for the Project will be subject to the current Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
A single lump sum bid is requested for General Construction which includes the following trades: General, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection trades. Performance, Labor and Materials Payment Bonds are required as stated in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.
Performance, Labor and Materials Payment Bonds, Certificates of Insurance, complete list of Sub-contractors, are also required, and shall be submitted with the Bid, as listed in the 00.2113 - Instruction to Bidders.
Liquidated damages may be applicable to this Project as indicated in the 00.2113 - Instruction to Bidders.
A bidder's pre-bid conference and tour of the work area (including major subcontractors) will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July, 28, 2026 at the Project Site. Failure to attend walk-through may be reason for Owner to reject bid.
After the Bid openings, Bids may be withdrawn only by strictly complying with the “Modifications and Withdrawal” article of the Instructions to Bidders (Document 00.2113).
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof or items therein and to waive informalities and/or technicalities as it deems best to protect its interests.
