Purchase Tape

Lincoln Electric System is soliciting formal bids for a three-year stock agreement to furnish and deliver various electrical tapes, sleeves, and terminals from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2029. The contract requires merchandise to be delivered FOB destination to specified locations in Lincoln, Nebraska, with payment terms set at Net 30. Bidders must provide pricing based on approved catalog numbers from authorized manufacturers such as 3M Products, Plymouth Rubber, Bishop Electric, and Mac Products. All bids must be submitted electronically through the LES Online Procurement System by October 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT. A critical component of this agreement is the requirement for vendors to maintain minimum stock levels for specific high-volume items in their warehouses, with a maximum allowable delivery time of two weeks after receipt of order for these items. LES reserves the right to audit these stock levels and agrees to purchase remaining minimum stock at contract prices within 30 days of contract expiration. Additionally, the successful bidder must provide weekly order status reports, ensure prices remain firm for the first 90 days, and complete an Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Form. Bidders are responsible for all patent royalties and must guarantee merchandise against mechanical and physical defects.
