AI Contract Overview
The contract is for the procurement of five PYROMETER, RECORDING units, identified by NSN 6685013737893 and part number TMP-100DC-11, under solicitation SPE4A5-26-T-105T, issued by the Department of Defense’s ASC SUPPLIER OPER OEM DIVISION. Delivery is required within 57 days after order issuance, with FOB Origin terms, and all items must be delivered to the designated receiving warehouse in Tracy, California. The contract specifies strict technical and quality requirements drawn from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which supersede all other standards including ASTM D3951. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD-129 for marking and labeling, and palletization must follow RP001 DLA Packaging Requirements. If hazardous under FED-STD-313, items must be packaged per IP025; all non-hazardous materials require commercial packaging aligned with ASTM D3951, unless overridden by DLA requirements. Mercury or mercury-containing compounds are prohibited in direct contact with supplied hardware except for specific exempted applications such as batteries, fluorescent lamps, sensors, and instrument controls, with portable mercury-containing devices requiring shockproof construction and a secondary containment boundary per NAVSEA 5100-003D. Inspection and acceptance occur at origin, governed by RQ009, with sampling methods dictated by MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 Table 1, or a comparable zero-based sampling plan. Attributes are to be classified with verification levels VII, IV, and II for critical, major, and minor characteristics respectively, or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0. Unspecified attributes default to major. MIL-STD-105/ASQ Z1.4 may be used for sample size determination, but acceptance requires zero non-conformances unless otherwise stipulated. Physical identification of bare items must follow RQ017, and documentation for source approval requests must comply with RC001. The contract incorporates numerous FAR clauses including 52.216-1 (with deviation 2026-00038 allowing alternative contract types), 52.222-50 (combating trafficking), 52.223-3 (hazardous material
