Full Description

SERVICES REQUIRED - The Contractor shall provide immediate, extended, adult inpatient psychiatric care for beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) when psychiatric hospitalization is required. VA beneficiaries shall be enrolled for health benefits through VA; have been screened, referred and pre-authorized by the VA Behavioral Health Inpatient Admissions Coordinator and/or the Utilization Review Specialist. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE - Services shall be provided at the Contractor's facility, located within the VISN 2 catchment area. The Schedule of Services establishes an all-inclusive daily rate for all costs associated with the required services provided by the Contractor to include inpatient psychological services, equipment, facility, nursing, technical, personnel, drugs, supplies, professional services, etc. The Contractor shall provide all services required by this contract at the costs contained in the Fee Schedule. The daily rate is to be expressed as a rate per eligible veteran, per day. Payment will only be made for veterans authorized for treatment by a VA official.
