The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4, is planning to negotiate a sole source contract with Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers located in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, for Community-Based Outpatient Clinic Services under NAICS code 621498. This decision is based on the unique ability of this provider to meet the agency’s requirements, as the services are delivered within Wayne’s facility, and transferring care to another provider would disrupt patient care. The contract action follows FAR guidelines allowing a sole source award when only one responsible source can fulfill the agency's needs, and no competition will be solicited. The Size Standard for this procurement is set at $22 million. This notice serves to publicize the intended sole source procurement and is not a solicitation for competitive bids; any responses submitted will only help assess the market for potential future procurements, with no compensation provided for submitted information. Interested parties are invited to submit inquiries only via the provided email by July 7, 2021, at noon EST. The Government has emphasized that this will be the only notice announcing the sole source intent to award the contract, given the requirement to maintain continuity of care at the existing facility in line with the Performance Work Statement.
