The contractor must deliver comprehensive farm management services, including annual growing plans, composting, infrastructure maintenance such as aquaponic systems and solar-powered drip irrigation, and structured educational sessions for inpatient and outpatient Veterans. All personnel must undergo VA background checks, obtain PIV badges, complete required training including HIPAA, privacy, patient abuse awareness, and safety compliance, and adhere to strict conduct policies such as wearing professional attire with ID badges, prohibiting personal cell phone use during duties, and restricting food and tobacco consumption to designated areas.
