The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to identify qualified small business providers capable of delivering licensed clinical therapy services for a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial evaluating MDMA-assisted therapy in Veterans with co-occurring Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Alcohol Use Disorder. This effort is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to award a contract, but it seeks to establish a non-personal services Labor Hour IDIQ contract with a twelve-month base period and four additional twelve-month option periods. All work must be performed on-site at the VA Providence Healthcare System in Providence, Rhode Island, and contractors will serve as co-therapists in dyads, delivering approximately 64.5 hours of therapy per participant encompassing preparatory sessions, eight-hour MDMA administration sessions, integration sessions, supervision, and comprehensive clinical documentation in strict compliance with VA, FDA, and human subjects research protocols. Providers must hold current independent clinical licensure as an LMFT, LICSW, LMHC, or licensed Psychologist, have completed formal MDMA-assisted therapy training through a MAPS-recognized or equivalent program, and demonstrate direct experience treating trauma and co-occurring substance use disorders specifically within Veteran populations.
