AI Contract Overview
The Department of Veterans Affairs, through its Program Contracting Activity - Central, is seeking information from Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) to support the National Activations Office in providing Initial Outfitting, Transition, and Activation Services for new Veterans Health Administration medical centers during fiscal years 2027 and 2028. These activation services involve comprehensive project management, interior design and space planning, transition and concept of operations planning, acquisition planning and package development, warehousing management, relocation of files, activation and post-occupancy support, and staff training. The goal is to ensure each new facility is fully operational on its opening day, with contractor support supplementing the medical center’s Activation Teams responsible for managing these projects. This Request for Information (RFI) is intended solely for market research and capability determination; it is not a solicitation or offer to enter into a contract. Only SDVOSBs certified by the VA and meeting the small business size standard for NAICS code 541614 are encouraged to respond. Responses must include detailed capability statements with examples of federal healthcare activation projects, including contact references, contract values, and roles as prime or subcontractor. The government will use submitted information to inform future acquisition strategy and will not compensate respondents for costs related to this RFI. Responses are due via email by June 18, 2026, and inquiries must be submitted exclusively through the specified email contacts.
