R--Army CIS Contract Modification

Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)5.201(b)(1)(ii), Army Contracting Command-National Capital Region (ACC-NCR) on behalf of the Office of the Assistant G-1 for Civilian Personnel (AG-1(CP)) intends to negotiate a contract modification with Arrowpoint Corporation under contract number W91QUZ-11-C-0032. The modification is required to implement within scope changes to the contract, to further define and clarify the research and development (R&D) efforts under the contract. Increased service support is required for the DCPDS De-Coupling effort for the Army Civilian Information Services (CIS) IT system. The contractor has successfully fulfilled the requirements on the contract and the continuity of support services is essential for the achievement of program objectives. The level of effort increase was determined by the Government to be within the scope of the original contract. The original solicitation adequately advised offerors of this type of requirement found in the modification. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and a solicitation will not be issued. Parties may express their interest, to the Contracting Officer no later than 4PM, Eastern Standard Time on 26 September, 2012.
