The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (PHD NSWC), plans to extend contract N63394-10-C-1206 with AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. for an additional six months to continue providing Customer Support and Program Management Services to the Air Dominance Department. This sole-source modification is intended to maintain service continuity, efficiency, and economy until a competitive procurement can be completed through the SeaPort-e Multiple Award Contract. AdvantEdge is uniquely qualified to provide uninterrupted support due to its familiarity with the AEGIS and related combat system engineering tasks, which are critical to NSWC PHD’s role as the In-Service Engineering Agent for these weapon systems. The contract modification, anticipated to be issued by January 31, 2012, will be awarded under FAR 6.302, allowing negotiation with a single source. While this notice is not a solicitation for competitive proposals, interested parties have fifteen days from publication to express interest or submit proposals. The government will review responses to determine if competitive procurement is warranted, reserving full discretion on this decision. The procurement falls under NAICS code 541330, covering professional engineering services, and the work will be performed primarily in Port Hueneme, California.
