R -- DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (DM), LABORATORY B COMPLEX

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) are initiating a presolicitation to select a Development Manager for the construction of the Laboratory B Complex on the Bethesda, MD campus. This project involves creating a bio-containment facility of approximately 150,000 gross square feet to support advanced research on emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases and biodefense. Additionally, the project includes the construction of a multi-level parking garage with a capacity of 1,250 vehicles. The role of the Development Manager will encompass comprehensive responsibilities including planning, programming, special studies, design, construction oversight, community relations, and coordination of all activities related to the project. The solicitation will initially select only the Development Manager, who will be pivotal in managing all phases from conceptual development through completion.
