Full Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for services to support the development of an Interface Control Document template, Flexible Infrastructure design requirements, standard and hull type drawings, and technical manual documentation. To meet this requirement NSWCCD intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement with Northrop Grumman Newport News (NGNN), 4101 Washington Avenue, Newport News, Virginia, 23607-2734. The work that will be performed is based on CVN 78 FI designs, with elements of the design and analysis data that are proprietary to NGNN. Award of a firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes however all responsible sources submitting quotes within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
