Full Description

Per FAR 6.302-1, NASA/KSC intends to extend the Engineering Development Contract (EDC) NAS10-98001 to Dynacs Engineering Company Inc. on a sole source basis. The EDC contract provides non-personal support services which include technical manpower to support laboratories, facilities and design activities providing engineering and management of complex research, development and technology projects. The contract completion date is September 30, 2002 and service will be continued up to a six month period through March 31, 2003. This extension will be issued pursuant to contract clause FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services to allow the Government to complete the follow-on acquisition now identified as the University-Affiliated Spaceport Technology Development Contract (USTDC). Written responses should include prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability and must be received in this office within 15 days after publication of this notice. No solicitation will be issued. No award will be based on any offer or proposal received in response to this notice.
