The Robins Air Force Base 78th Services Division Fitness Center is launching its Men’s and Women’s Varsity Softball season starting in March 2005. The teams are open to active duty military personnel and their family members over 18 and compete against various military bases and colleges across the Southeast. Each game draws attendance ranging from 75 to 150 spectators, culminating in a total seasonal attendance of approximately 750 to 1,500 people. To support the season's expenses, the division is seeking monetary or in-kind sponsorships totaling $2,000, which can be used to cover costs such as uniforms, softballs, towels, and other related supplies. Sponsors contributing to the softball season are offered the opportunity for brand exposure through diverse channels, including promotional event materials, the Services Edge magazine with a monthly circulation of 15,000, the weekly Rev-Up publication reaching 20,000 readers, and a thank you sign displayed at events. The specific nature of logo and name recognition depends on the value of the sponsorship provided. Interested companies are encouraged to contact Marisa Mammano by February 25, 2005, to participate in supporting the 2005 Varsity Softball season.
