Full Description

This is notice that OPM intends to use simplified acquisition procedures to award a purchase order for a four-month period on a sole source basis. Ancora Capital Management Group, LLC, doing business as "Ancora Jetsosrt", 9108 Yellow Brick Road, Baltimore, MD 21237-4701, will provide mail presort services in support of the Office of Personnel Management, Mail Management Group. Only this responsible source and no other service will satisfy our agency's requirement to provide the continuity required to ensure uninterrupted mail service provided by OPM as a result of the lengthy start-up period that would be required for a new contractor. During the five month performance period of these services, OPM will conduct a competitive procurement to award a new contract as a follow-on to this purchase order. The Mail Management Group finds it necessary to bridge the current blanket purchase agreement to satisfy agency requirements until full and open competition needs are provided for. This notice is for information only, and may represent the only official notice.
