From April 22 to June 10, 2005, the Robins Air Force Base 78th Services Division Youth Center is hosting Operation Night Hoops, a structured basketball program aimed at enhancing life skills for boys and girls aged 13 to 18. The program spans eight weeks and combines life skill sessions with basketball activities in a safe, drug-free environment, typically attracting 30 to 40 youth participants. This year, the organizers seek partnerships with companies interested in providing monetary or in-kind donations to supply food and sports drinks for participants after each weekly meeting. Companies that choose to support Operation Night Hoops can gain recognition through multiple channels depending on the value of their contribution. These include logo or name placement in event promotional materials, the Services Edge magazine (with a monthly circulation of 15,000), the Services website, the weekly Rev-Up publication (circulated 20,000 times), and on an event thank-you sign.
