Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Milwaukee VA Medical Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-5, with their academic affiliate, the Medical College of Wisconsin for research support services. This contract will utilize a variety of professional expertise for all various activities needed to accomplish research studies within the medical center. The projects and research studies are part of VA approved merits research grant funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Milwaukee VAMC requires support from its academic affiliate for services establishing both new and continuing services in support of these research grants. This contract allows the VA to maintain an essential capability and ongoing research efforts that cannot be currently performed by the VA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Monday, June 4th, 4:00, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Lynn Portman at contact@example.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
