This is an intended sole source announcement. Space and Naval Warfare Center Atlantic (SPAWAR Atlantic), Code 22130, intends to award this requirement on a sole source basis to Prism Maritime, LLC. on a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order to consist of the efforts required to provide Ships Installation Drawings (SIDS) Development, Equipment & Material Procurement, and Logistics support to SPAWAR Atlantic in support of SOFLE modifications onboard USS AMERICA (LHA-6). Work is in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This synopsis is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No electronic or hard copy Request for Quote (RFQ) will be prepared or made available for distribution. The Government has a sole source justification. This action is conducted under FAR Part 13. The Government already has a quote so no need to provide one. However, the government will accept quotes from all responsible small business sources with the capability to provide the service outlined in the PWS and will award a contract resulting from this synopsis to the responsible vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. The applicable NAICS code for this effort is 541330 with a size standard of $38.5M. All interested small business companies must be registered with e-Commerce as their will be no separate solicitation/PWS issued other than this posting. All interested small business companies must be current with their registration in System for Award Management (SAM) and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) at time of quote submission and provide their current cage code on the quote. All interested small business companies must be in full compliance and provide all information requested/required outlined in the attached PWS. All correspondence shall be done in writing via email. No phone calls will be accepted or returned with regard to this solicitation. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted via email to contact@example.gov no later than 8:00 am Monday, August 29, 2016. The closing date will not be extended.
