R -- Water Services Eagle Heights Housing Area Military Facilities

NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE AWARD: 436th Contracting Squadron, Dover AFB, Delaware intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Dover Air Force Base (DAFB) Properties, 4401 North Mesa Street, El Paso, Texas 79902. This service contract will allow DAFB Properties to deliver water to three military facilities in the recently privatized Eagle Heights housing area, and to invoice DAFB for water delivered. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete quote, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is on or about 25 September 2006. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, 24 September 2007.
