The 48th Contracting Squadron at Royal Air Force (RAF) Lakenheath, United Kingdom, seeks feedback and sources from companies capable of providing non-personal Strength and Conditioning Specialist services for the 48th Medical Group (48th MDG) at RAF Lakenheath in accordanc ewith the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Background: The Government requires contractor support for the Operational Support Team, whcih is integral to maintaining operational readiness. This position will directly support mission readiness by improving Airmen's strength and physical performance, preventing injuries, integrating rehabilitation, and optimizing human performance.
The specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive physical training and injury prvention programs tailored to enhance Airman performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct instruction.
- Assessing and mitigating physical and ergonomic workplace stressors
- Collaborating with medical staff and unit leadership to support a full spectrum of human performanc eand rehabilitation initiatives.
