The County of Riverside (County), for the benefit of its Public Safety Enterprise Communications (PSEC), operates the Ranger Peak Communication Site, identified by Assessor’s Parcel Number 545-130-015 located in Banning CA (Property). County and Licensee have been operating under a Telecommunications License Agreement since June 01, 2022 (“Original Agreement”) and both Parties have agreed to amend the existing Original Agreement to add additional Options so the Licensee can continue operating at the current existing location. The First Amendment to the License Agreement with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC is defined as the proposed project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The project is the letting of property involving existing facilities; no substantial expansion of the existing facility will occur. The operation of the facility will continue to provide communication services. No additional direct or indirect physical environmental impacts are anticipated.
