The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) proposes to enter into a contract with BIO - RAD in Hercules, California on a basis of other than full and open competition. This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to perform services for brand name equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested, the Government shall consider capability statements.
This service requirement will determine if repair is required prior to entry into an on-site service support plan. If repair is required, labor, travel, and parts required for that repair will not be covered under this award. Pricing for any required recertification repair must be pre-approved.
This requirement is for a base year contract with 4 options years, with pricing across all years. Specific items include:
Unlimited on-site repair inclusive of travel, labor and parts done by OEM authorized service technician(s) in accordance with OEM standards and factory specifications. Response for repairs will be within 5 business days of request Monday through Friday, 0800-1600. One preventative maintenance visit will be done on-site by OEM authorized service technicians in accordance with OEM standards.
The NAICS code for this action is 325413. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM).
