RECOVERY--The contract work under this contract may include a base contract and one option. (a) Base contract work consists of, but is not limited to, the following items of work: Clearing and excavating phragmites; Repair of jetty including re-handling existing capstone and placing new marine mattresses, core stone, and graded riprap; Removal of existing wood poles and concrete foundations; Construction of new navigation tower concrete foundation and installation of new ladder; (b) Option work consists of placing new capstone in the event the existing capstone to be re-handled under the base bid is not sufficient for the required repairs.. Solicitation Number W912BU-09-B-0024 will be issued on or about 17 July 2009 with a bid opening date of 18 August 2009. Estimated cost range of the project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990 (SIC 1629) with a size standard of $33.5 million. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage located at https://www.fbo.gov/. Registration for plans and specifications should be made via FBO Internet homepage and hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests will be accepted. It is the contractors responsibility to monitor FBO for any amendments.
