The Department of General Services (DGS), on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to assess market interest in the potential redevelopment or reuse of the Commonwealth-owned property located at 827 Oley Valley Road, White Haven, Pennsylvania (Property). The Commonwealth seeks to identify qualified development teams capable of undertaking a financially sound, community-responsive, and high-quality redevelopment of the Property.The Property consists of approximately 182.72 acres with improvements and is zoned S-1 Special Purpose Institutional Use. It is strategically located along the Interstate 80 corridor, approximately 110 miles west of New York City, 96 miles north of Philadelphia, and 101 miles north of Harrisburg. The Property is under the jurisdiction of the Department of Human Services, closed to patient services as of two years ago, and is currently vacant.This RFI is not a formal solicitation and will not result in the award of a contract or sale of the Property. If the Commonwealth elects to proceed with a formal disposition or development process, a separate Request for Proposal (RFP) or other formal solicitation will be issued.
