Broward County Transportation (BCT) is seeking a vendor to supply and deliver brand new refrigerant recovery machines to safely recover, evacuate, and recharge multiple refrigerants. All Refrigerant Recovery Machines shall arrive fully installed/assembled in one continuous operation during the maintenance of transit buses. Labor, Shipping, Delivery, Offloading, and all charges necessary to be included in unit price. No other charges will be allowed.
Vendor shall submit bids in compliance with the following specifications and product details. The following parts, or County-approved equal, shall be furnished and delivered.
All Refrigerant Recovery Machines shall arrive fully installed/assembled and ready to operate as an essential condition of this contract. Labor, Shipping, Delivery, Offloading, and all charges necessary to be included in unit price. No other charges will be allowed. . Delivery shall be by FOB Destination. Delivery charges and all other costs shall be inclusive of the price. No other charges will be allowed. Delivery must be made during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., except County approved holidays.

Federal Transit Administration Requirements: The successful Vendor is required to complete the applicable forms found in the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Funding Supplement.
Request for Approved Equals: Potential Vendor may submit for the County’s consideration, prior to due date of solicitations, for a determination of approved equal status. Requests for Approved Equals must be submitted on the form and delivered by email to the Certified Agency Buyer, no later than 5:00 PM EST Wednesday, May 20, 2026 . Late requests will not be considered. The County’s response to Requests for Approved Equals will be issued by addendum.
Questions and Answers: The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the solicitation requirements. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through BPRO by the Questions due date. The County will respond to questions in BPRO (Messages section).
Requested Information: BPRO's Requested Information section identifies "required" and "optional" items for submittal, however all documents and information are relevant to the evaluation process. Therefore, vendors are strongly encouraged to provide all files at time of submittal, including those listed as “optional” in BPRO, to enable a timely and comprehensive review by the County.
Submittals: Vendor MUST submit its solicitation response electronically through BPRO and receive a Submission Receipt. It is solely the Vendor’s responsibility to ensure its response is submitted and received through BPRO by the closing date and time. The County will not consider solicitation responses received by other means. Vendors are encouraged to submit in advance of the closing date and time. Refer to the Purchasing Division website or contact support@gobonfire.com for submittal instructions. In the event that the Vendor is having difficulty submitting a document, immediately notify the Purchasing Agent and then contact support@gobonfire.com for technical assistance.
