Remotely Controlled Bathymetric Survey Boat The remote controlled boat shall be used for bathymetric surveys on lakes and impoundments and also used for cross-sectional depth surveys on rivers. Shall meet these minimum specifications and salient characteristics: -For versatility the boat shall be able to operate in fast flowing rivers up to 16 ft/s (5 m/s), in as shallow as 1 of water and also operate in lakes/reservoirs in survey mode. -Shall be portable and constructed of UV resistant ABS plastic and be no more than 71 x 36(180cm L x 90 cm W) and weigh no more than 52.9 lbs (24 kg). -Shall be able to carry a payload of 30 lbs. -Shall include a programmable remote control with up to 1,300 yds. (1200 meter) range. -Shall include a Bluetooth radio with ~ 328'656 yards (300-600 meter) range for transmitting data to a shore-based laptop (not included). -Shall include a single-beam, 200 Khz echo sounder with 1 cm accuracy. Echo sounder shall be positioned directly under the GPS -Boat package shall include a sub-meter GPS and additional custom cabling to allow interface with a user supplied, Trimble Navigation RTK R8 rover. -Shall include a power supply capable of powering the boat for at least 160 minutes at cruising speed.
